Sensitive Third Party Data

Google

When you link a Google Account, you can consent to give us access to your email addresses, phone numbers, and contacts. Your contacts data is not stored. We take a hash of your contact’s email addresses and phone numbers, and compare this with the email addresses and phone numbers that our registered users have submitted and verified for themselves. When there is a mutual match, we will form a connection.

Humans are not allowed to read your Google account data (email addresses, phone numbers, contacts do not have any stored data) unless necessary for security purposes (for example, investigating a bug or abuse), if it is necessary to comply with applicable law, or with your explicit affirmative agreement to view specific data.

LinkedIn

When you link a LinkedIn account, you consent to give us access to your LinkedIn contacts. Your contacts data is not stored, only the hashes of their LinkedIn IDs are stored. We take a hash of their LinkedIn ID and compare this with the hashes of the LinkedIn IDs of users who are registered with us. When there is a mutual match, we will form a connection.

How long we keep information

We store your personal information until you deactivate your account. We will retain your information for one more month, after which all your account information will be deleted.

Who we share information with

We may share aggregated data such as user numbers, average amount of connections formed, etc publicly or in reports for donors or funders. This will not include any personal data or data that can be connected to an individual user.
